HQ Quonset Point
Using the New York Times Headquarters building by Renzo Piano as our precedent, our group analyzed its curtain wall system, as well as, its steel framing. Through our research and analysis of the large-scale building; we were able to extract the global structural, environmental control, enclosure, and
circulation/egress systems dissecting the information of the building through
representation of a critical envelope detail.

SPECULATIVE OFFICE BUILDING
The challenge was to design systems for a speculative office building, on the Quonset Point campus. The design required +/- 60,000 gross square feet, and four to five stories. Our design utilizes a steel frame structure with a terracotta rain screen cladding.
